A warm welcome, a beautifully laid table and music that brings the Christmas spirit to life from the very first notes: a memorable Christmas celebration is built around moments that bring people together.
SwissDuo provides live music for corporate Christmas parties and private celebrations, with piano and cello in Zurich and throughout Switzerland. From favourite Christmas melodies and elegant film music to heartfelt pop ballads, we create a musical setting that suits your guests and your occasion.
Whether you are planning a Christmas drinks reception, a company Christmas dinner, a festive client event or a family gathering, our own arrangements turn familiar melodies into a personal musical experience.
Why SwissDuo is the ideal choice for your Christmas party
The best music for a Christmas celebration suits the atmosphere, the programme and the people in the room. It creates a festive mood, leaves space for conversation and can take centre stage at just the right moment.
This versatility makes the combination of piano and cello particularly appealing. The cello brings warmth and a singing, expressive voice; the piano complements it with rich harmonies, lightness and rhythmic energy.
SwissDuo brings together Irina Grebaus on piano and Sandi Toka Nova on cello. As an established duo, we create our own arrangements, combining classical musical artistry with well-known Christmas songs, film melodies and contemporary favourites.
For your celebration, this means:
- A personal sound: original arrangements with the distinctive combination of piano and cello.
- A varied repertoire: Christmas classics, classical music, film scores and selected pop hits.
- The right musical setting: gentle accompaniment to your drinks reception or a dedicated concert moment.
- A compact ensemble: two instruments with a wide range of moods and colours.
- Thoughtful planning: musical sets and breaks coordinated with dinner, speeches and other parts of the programme.

Corporate Christmas parties: a musical way to say thank you
A company Christmas party is an opportunity to thank your team, long-serving employees, clients and business partners. Live music gives that appreciation a special setting.
Christmas drinks receptions and welcomes
As the first guests arrive, music creates an immediate sense of occasion. Piano and cello accompany their arrival, first conversations and shared toasts.
Familiar Christmas melodies work beautifully at a festive reception, alongside light, elegant pieces from our wider repertoire. We adapt the volume and musical selection to the venue and the character of the occasion.
Christmas dinner with musical accompaniment
At a corporate Christmas dinner, conversation and connection take priority. The music should support them and fit naturally into the evening.
One possible approach is a festive musical welcome, selected pieces between courses and a shared musical finale. Speeches, awards and other programme elements each have their own space.
A small Christmas concert as the highlight
Would you like to give your team something special? A concert set during your Christmas celebration invites everyone to put everyday work aside for a moment and listen together.
Familiar melodies form a musical journey that is reflective, lively and full of recognition. We discuss the length and selection to suit your event concept.

Private Christmas celebrations with a personal touch
Live music also makes a difference at private gatherings. A shared Christmas dinner, an Advent celebration with friends or a festive evening bringing several generations together gains a special intimacy from the sound of real instruments.
SwissDuo accompanies private Christmas celebrations in a suitable setting, such as a restaurant, hotel or hired event space, or in your own home after discussing the available space.
Perhaps you would like familiar Christmas melodies to welcome your guests. Perhaps a favourite piece should become a personal surprise. Or you may want to treat your guests to a small house concert.
We discuss the musical approach that suits your celebration and whether particular musical requests can be included in the programme.
Christmas classics, film music and pop: a programme for different guests
Not every Christmas celebration needs to consist entirely of Christmas songs. A varied programme can be particularly well suited to corporate events and gatherings with guests of different ages.
Alongside our Christmas collection, SwissDuo’s repertoire includes Moon River, Perfect, All of Me, Cinema Paradiso and classical works such as The Swan.
This allows the music to follow the evening: festive at the reception, elegant over dinner and moving during a shared concert moment. Combining different styles creates variety while preserving the distinctive sound of piano and cello.
Live music for Christmas parties in Zurich and across Switzerland
SwissDuo accompanies corporate events and private celebrations in Zurich and throughout Switzerland by arrangement.
When planning, we consider the specific features of your venue. Is a suitable piano or grand piano available? Where can the duo perform? How can setup and soundcheck fit into the event schedule? What technical equipment is appropriate for the room and the number of guests?
If no instrument is available, we can discuss a suitable solution using an electric piano or E-Grand. Equipment, transport and amplification, where needed, are included in the individual quotation.
