The musical heart of Pianobeat
Irina Grebaus shapes
the band's sound.
Irina Grebaus has been Pianobeat's central musician and defining force for many years. PIANO was chosen deliberately for the name: her piano playing forms the band's musical foundation and combines elegant accompaniment with energetic live sound.
Sandi Toka Nova joins Pianobeat on cello in selected larger line-ups. Depending on the event, the formation can expand flexibly into a sextet or an even larger ensemble — there is no fixed upper limit to the number of musicians.
