Musicians · Magicians
Two musicians.
One world of sound.
SwissDuo, formerly known as PIANOCELLO, brings together Swiss pianist and composer Irina Grebaus and Kazakh cellist and composer Sandi Toka Nova. Both are classically trained at the highest level and share a musical language that embraces classical music, pop, jazz, rock and film music. Together, they hold a total of nine higher-education and advanced professional qualifications in music, including a Soloist Diploma and a postgraduate qualification.
Their audiences call them the musical magicians of piano and cello. Each of their arrangements begins with a familiar melody and becomes a new sound world bearing the unmistakable signature of SwissDuo.
SwissDuo writes, performs and produces music and videos to enrich people’s lives around the world. Some of their interpretations have reached international audiences on YouTube and Instagram — and this connection with people is their greatest motivation.
