About the piece and our interpretation
The First Noël is a traditional English Christmas carol, heard here in a solo piano arrangement by Irina Grebaus. This recording features piano alone, without vocals or cello. SwissDuo’s pianist and composer arranged and performed the piece herself, bringing a quiet, personal character to a familiar seasonal melody.
Solo piano offers a way to create a festive atmosphere with a small musical ensemble. Consider The First Noël for an Advent reception, a reflective concert moment or a Christmas dinner. For a live event in Switzerland, you can discuss solo piano or the cello and piano duo with us. We help you choose the ensemble and programme around your venue and the flow of the celebration.
