The SwissDuo (formerly known as PIANOCELLO) creates music that touches hearts. SwissDuo writes, performs, and records music with the goal of making a positive impact on people’s lives around the world. Through their inspiring compositions and music videos, they craft truly immersive soundscapes.
The duo consists of pianist and composer Irina Grebaus and world-class cellist Sandi Toka Nova, who have been collaborating for years. Both classically trained at the highest level, they now create not only popular classical works but also their own original arrangements of jazz, pop, and rock songs, as well as famous film melodies. Their concert repertoire spans from compositions by Franz Schubert and Charles Gounod to epic film scores from Game of Thrones, Beauty and the Beast, and blockbuster themes from Twilight and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Several of their interpretations have become hits on YouTube and Instagram, earning them widespread acclaim and recognition.
